Charles March

Charles qualified as a Chartered Surveyor in 1995 and began is career working for a firm of commercial surveyors in Guildford.

He then moved into the field of corporate real estate advice, by joining a multi-disciplined and occupier focused consultancy.

He has managed commercial property portfolios for major UK and international companies such as Otis Plc, BAX Global, Gillette and Bluestone Plc and has carried out major strategic reviews for Otis plc, Origin in the Netherlands and Natexis Banques Populaires (NBP) and for the latter this included reorganising the London operational portfolio for this major French bank.

More recently, Charles took over the running of a busy and expanding commercial property management operation, managing property for corporate investors and developeers such as Howard Holdings, F&C Asset Management and Terrace Hill, as well as a number of mixed use developments for private clients.

Charles joined Stream Properties to manage a range of mixed use properties for various clients, with a rent role in excess of £ 4.4 million.

In addition to his property management skills, Charles has recently completed the project management of a number of office fit outs including a € 1 million Cat A refurbishment and Cat B office fit out in Dublin.

2010 Revaluation For Rating
The 2010 rating revaluation will take effect on 1 April 2010 and the revaluation exercise has hit Central London offices particularly hard, where some ratepayers have seen rateable values more than double.
